Selmes Garden Centre

Selmes Garden Centre is a retail nursery providing employment and training for members of the Marlborough community – some of whom have a disability. By securing meaningful employment we are able to make a significant difference in their lives, and in the lives of their families and the wider community.

Mission Statement

Creating meaningful work through training and employment, a sense of belonging and genuine purpose in the lives of those with disabilities.

History

Selmes was established in 2008 by John Lundon, Tony Oberdriesand Mick Murphy, and backed financially by G&J Tomlinson and the community-minded people of Marlborough. We are a community-based workplace and non-profit organisation that works towards increasing our capacity to provide more work and support for more people with disabilities.
