About Us

Kilmarnock Enterprises is an Ōtautahi Christchurch-based social enterprise creating employment and development opportunities for Kiwis with disabilities. We sit halfway between a business and a charity, generating our income through commercial activities but driven by our social principles. Kilmarnock is a non-profit organisation with all profits invested into our social purpose.

The Kilmarnock Academy

For young Kiwis with a disability, there are few options when it comes time to leave high school.

Many watch their peers go on to further education, apprenticeships or straight into employment. Without a variety of opportunities and the freedom to make their own choices, they can feel like they have very little control over their lives. That’s where we come in.

Through a diverse range of opportunities, our learners develop their strengths, achieve their aspirations and become contributing members of their community.
